The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Bernad got free with Ildefonso Bartolome in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Vinhas came free, but Ildefonso Bartolome reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Toro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Messi Dream Team's Manga I played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Herauso in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Truylos in the 18th minute of play forced Messi Dream Team's goalkeeper Manga I to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manga I made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Xabat in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Benicio Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Bartolome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ildefonso Bartolome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Ladislao Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manga I saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Messi Dream Team booed when TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Daunte didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benicio Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Vinhas in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Bartolome saved TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 from getting behind.

TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Ildefonso Bartolome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Vinhas in the 52nd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Messi Dream Team got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Baladi. After having played for 58 minutes, Benicio Bernad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manga I made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Oton in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Messi Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Oton came free, but Manga I reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
