The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of AFC CERBEROS booed when Momentum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Jerold didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Damian Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhao Feng Chen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Montenegro in the 17th minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Mauro Joachim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Momentum FC's zone, Damian Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhao Feng Chen came out of the goal and Damian Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goalkeeper Zhao Feng Chen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Azibar. In the 35th minute Brian Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute Damian Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhao Feng Chen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match, Damian Lopez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zhao Feng Chen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 39th match minute, Momentum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Tomiczek to maneuver through the defense. Zhao Feng Chen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Azibar in the 40th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Montenegro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Urbano Chinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhao Feng Chen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 played minutes AFC CERBEROS got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Chinto. Mauro Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Montenegro in the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Sanchez came free, but Zhao Feng Chen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Joachim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to AFC CERBEROS getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Haroldo Gaizko hit a great ball. Mauro Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Celio in the 63rd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Carmelo Saturnin put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in AFC CERBEROS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! In the 77th minute Brian Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Sanchez came free, but Zhao Feng Chen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Azibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd match minute, AFC CERBEROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Lopez to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Segundo Jerold reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauro Joachim. The goal made the score 0-4. Mauro Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Jerold in the 92nd minute of the match. The Momentum FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Momentum FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
