The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arild Nodland, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute of the match Chacarita Futsal got a corner. Leones FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arild Nodland ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Chacarita Futsal's Cipriano Nicholas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Leopoldo Lastur came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Chacarita Futsal's Arild Nodland. But to his dismay, Arild Nodland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th match minute, Chacarita Futsal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Paublo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Signorini in the 15th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Dunixi made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arnaldo Leguizamón immediately put the ball in play. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arild Nodland in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Signorini in the 24th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arild Nodland in the 25th minute of play. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arild Nodland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arild Nodland in the 30th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Lastur came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Chacarita Futsal's Alfonso Signorini. But to his dismay, Alfonso Signorini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Chacarita Futsal fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Chacarita Futsal's Alfonso Signorini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chacarita Futsal's Miguel Ángel Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Santana in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Signorini to make the kick off. Moises Cayo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Alfonso Signorini made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When Arild Nodland came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Chacarita Futsal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arild Nodland couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Signorini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Dunixi kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Gaspar Sabin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Leguizamón charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Leguizamón the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Arnaldo Leguizamón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Signorini might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Lastur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Signorini ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur got control of the ball when Alfonso Signorini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arild Nodland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chacarita Futsal's Evaristo Perez was substituted for Alfonso Signorini. In the 92nd match minute, Chacarita Futsal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Cayo to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Ángel Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Ler in the 97th minute of the match. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chacarita Futsal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
