The wind increased when Adélio Ventura made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Patay Juniors booed when AC Fu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Gines didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes, Patay Juniors's Norberto Naelio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Renato Coutinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Patay Juniors reached it. The Patay Juniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while AC Fu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
