An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Ambauen in the 9th minute of play forced El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Fernando Ruisko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernán Crespo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Dan Ambauen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Ruisko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Gladiadores's Pablo Corral got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Hernán Crespo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Urbasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernán Crespo in the 39th minute. Victor Berdaitz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Daniel Urbasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán Crespo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 42nd minute, Tito Uchiha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The El Millo de Haedo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gladiadores were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis Ingemarsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Ruisko made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Dennis Ingemarsson sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Fernando Ruisko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Ambauen. Marciano Pettinelli took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Ruisko. Fernando Ruisko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, El Millo de Haedo's Fernando Ruisko got control of the ball when Dan Ambauen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián González in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Hernán Crespo made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Urbasa. Gladiadores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Crespo in the 74th minute of play forced Gladiadores's goalkeeper Daniel Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Crespo in the 74th minute of the match. Hernán Crespo hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, El Millo de Haedo's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Ambauen came free, but Fernando Ruisko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Uhin. In the 87th minute, Pablo Corral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Ruisko made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Dan Ambauen sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Gladiadores booed when El Millo de Haedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayezit Akçabay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Ruisko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Ambauen in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded Gladiadores left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Millo de Haedo.
