OLIMPIA SP's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Uwe Reimann in the 7th minute. Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ezequiel Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OLIMPIA SP's Inge Marin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Glauco Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Marin having to interfere. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Lobo Guará from getting a goal against them. Daniel Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uwe Reimann in the 29th minute of the match. Marcinho de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Daniel Anaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Pereira took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Marin. Inge Marin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Daniel Anaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uwe Reimann in the 42nd minute. When Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OLIMPIA SP's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Pereira to make the kick off. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Gomes in the 54th minute of play. Inge Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Pereira in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Lobo Guará got a corner. OLIMPIA SP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Willian Caca-Rato ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Inge Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Pereira in the 78th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lobo Guará walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
