The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Maria Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Saldanha in the 3rd minute of the match. Nilton Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Quirino having to interfere. José Maria Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Falcão Cunha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Fabiano Sena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 9 minute of play. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 11th minute of play. José Maria Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Sena took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Falcão Cunha to make any attempt to save it. José Maria Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Botelho in the 28th minute of play. Falcão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Reginaldo Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Maria Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Botelho in the 36th minute of play. José Maria Quirino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Saldanha's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Luiz Fabiano Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Falcão Cunha. Gracie Barra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fabiano Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Saldanha in the 63rd minute of play forced Bizard FC's goalkeeper José Maria Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Luiz Fabiano Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Falcão Cunha. Gracie Barra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fabiano Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Gracie Barra's Snorri De Hond was substituted for Augusto Saldanha. Gracie Barra's Hugo de Queirós was substituted for Nilton Botelho. 78 minutes into the match, Bizard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo de Queirós came free, but José Maria Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falcão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 81st minute of the match. Snorri De Hond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Quirino having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Bizard FC's goalkeeper José Maria Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jamey Hankins. After 86th play minutes Snorri De Hond shot 4-2, a short shot which went by José Maria Quirino and just under the crossbar into goal. José Maria Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo de Queirós in the 89th minute of play. Hugo de Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but José Maria Quirino made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Snorri De Hond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gracie Barra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Gracie Barra's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bizard FC had won, even though Gracie Barra had held more of the ball.
