Despite this Jailson Aparecido quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Nova Iguaçu MZFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ödön Zsinka hit a great ball. Mickaël Maris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Zonta in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Lucas Hulk made a precise shot to the right of Mickaël Maris. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 25th minute, Fabian Băieșu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Lucas Hulk notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris. Mickaël Maris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jailson Aparecido was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Horaţiu Măcrinici capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Mickaël Maris successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 61 played minutes México Eterno MZC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Ribas. After having played for 63 minutes, Renato Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. México Eterno MZC's Jailson Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Matos in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris got control of the ball when Fabian Băieșu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Zonta came free, but Mickaël Maris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of México Eterno MZC booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Ortiz hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The México Eterno MZC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing México Eterno MZC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
