The audience was convinced that Igor Milko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguinho Sousa was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Igor Milko could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Rodriguinho Sousa however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Igor Milko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Milko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ made a substitution. Nico Alvarenga replaced Luiz Paulo Dracena. After 64 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Téo Matorin. Deilmison van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Cristiano Messias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deilmison van Basten's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. With an all-out effort, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Rodriguinho Sousa threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anacleto Adán, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after ATHLETICO PRaiano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anacleto Adán took the corner. After taking down the ball on Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's corner Anacleto Adán fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rodriguinho Sousa quite easily take care of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Unax Mudarra came free, but Cristiano Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robin van Persie was slow to take the kick. During this time ATHLETICO PRaiano's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Deilmison van Basten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristiano Messias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Martien Jochemsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguinho Sousa was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. 94 minutes into the game, Nico Alvarenga threw the ball into play from the sideline. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Gaétan Govou quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cristiano Messias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deilmison van Basten went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
