The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Régis Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raffael Quiroga having to interfere. Narciso Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Pires in the 8th minute of the match. Blumenau Esporte Clube's attentive Hortêncio Fantini managed to snatch the ball when Yaroslav Lyubar made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Narciso Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Austra VFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maxim Vasilitã in the 16th minute. Raffael Quiroga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Danil Shashkov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Yaroslav Lyubar kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Pires in the 34th minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Narciso Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danil Shashkov in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raffael Quiroga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raffael Quiroga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danil Shashkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Danil Shashkov made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Danil Shashkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blumenau Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danil Shashkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th match minute, Blumenau Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Souto to maneuver through the defense. Maxim Vasilitã succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 56th playminute. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Hortêncio Fantini managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yaroslav Lyubar in the 58 minute of the game. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hortêncio Fantini hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Wellington Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Narciso Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Madureira in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danil Shashkov in the 70th minute of play forced Austra VFC's goalkeeper Raffael Quiroga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raffael Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Alagoano in the 73rd minute of play. Blumenau Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Austra VFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Régis Souto took the corner. Austra VFC's Erasmo Cardoso was substituted for Leandro Vianna. Raffael Quiroga came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Tami Abraham. But to his dismay, Tami Abraham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 87th minute Tami Abraham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raffael Quiroga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxim Vasilitã who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Narciso Macedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Ivar Dalman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austra VFC's Raffael Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Klinsmann in the 94th minute of play. After 94 played minutes Austra VFC got a freekick which was hit by César Madureira. Blumenau Esporte Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
