With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmyr Novaes in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juarês Abreu saved Pura Arte F.C from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Fonseca came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes Pura Arte F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walmyr Novaes who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Fellipe Capixaba heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Juarês Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Capasso in the 23rd minute of the match. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Merusca F&P's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Fontes in the 28th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's goalkeeper Juarês Abreu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florian Capasso. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Fontes in the 35th minute of the match. If Frederico Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frédson Paulista helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Pura Arte F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Paulista to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Frederico Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite this Juarês Abreu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Merusca F&P fans' excitement grew in the 98th match minute when Merusca F&P's Marcinho Sabóia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Merusca F&P fully deserved thier win.
