Canidelense's Adão Vilela got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute Lou Deans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Tate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karhan Siralp in the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xalvador Pendones in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Tate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santiago Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Severo in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when José Blanchart came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When José Blanchart came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the S.C. Canidelense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Blanchart couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Xalvador Pendones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Tate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xalvador Pendones kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 20thth minute. Though ot was a great shot S.C. Canidelense's keeper Kent Tate was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 21 played minutes Nueva Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Diego Lugano. After 22 played minutes, S.C. Canidelense's Germano Lobato shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.C. Canidelense reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Ziguenza in the 23rd minute of play forced S.C. Canidelense's goalkeeper Kent Tate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nueva Chicago's Santiago Cañizares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Severo in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Blanchart in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Cañizares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santiago Cañizares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Pedro Esparteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Kent Tate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Ziguenza in the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 played minutes S.C. Canidelense got a freekick which was hit by Zhivko Shpatov. A hard shot 39 in the game by Xalvador Pendones from a close distance when the talented Kent Tate managed to make a qualified save. S.C. Canidelense's players were relieved. José Blanchart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Esparteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes S.C. Canidelense got a freekick which was hit by Adão Vilela. 44 minutes into the game, Joga Leve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kent Tate was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. S.C. Canidelense's Karhan Siralp got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Koldo Fabelo hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Blanchart. After a rather tough play, S.C. Canidelense's Pedro Esparteiro got a free kick in the 54th minute. Xalvador Pendones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Marcial Ziguenza made a precise shot to the right of Kent Tate. S.C. Canidelense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Chicago's zone, Karhan Siralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Cañizares came out of the goal and Karhan Siralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute Karhan Siralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Cañizares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Blanchart got free with Santiago Cañizares in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francesc Vilaplana kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. S.C. Canidelense's Leonides Ospetsu was substituted for Germano Lobato. Santiago Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karhan Siralp in the 80th minute of the match. S.C. Canidelense were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Nueva Chicago's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adão Vilela took the corner. Xalvador Pendones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Leonardo Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santiago Cañizares made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when José Blanchart sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Esparteiro hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Joga Leve, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nueva Chicago had won after a very even match.
