After some careless play in the A.D.ESMOJÃES defense, Wiliam Queiroz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laureano Rijo. The A.D.ESMOJÃES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laureano Rijo should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Bulhosa came free, but Hermínio Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to A.D.ESMOJÃES getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ricardo Souto hit a great ball. Laureano Rijo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiliam Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The corner ended in Kenneth Almstedt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.D.ESMOJÃES's Laureano Rijo did a great save. Nicolaas Anelkas short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Hermínio Nunes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 23rd match minute, Suprs Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Hermínio Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolaas Anelka in the 31st minute of the match. Hermínio Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Bulhosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Suprs Academia's Hermínio Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Souto in the 35th minute of play. Hermínio Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amílcar Leiria in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Rijo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute Nicolaas Anelka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Garcia was the one to do the kick off. Nicolaas Anelka hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Alexander Wenzel kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Amílcar Leiria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suprs Academia and the A.D.ESMOJÃES players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Suprs Academia got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Leiria. Suprs Academia's Robert Dinamite was substituted for Amílcar Leiria. Hermínio Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute of the match A.D.ESMOJÃES got a corner. Suprs Academia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Éder Palma ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Jonas Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Rijo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wiliam Queiroz in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Suprs Academia's Edgardo Cosca got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jonas Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Laureano Rijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Dinamite in the 86th minute of the match. Hermínio Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Suprs Academia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
