Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquim Delgado started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adalberto Peres during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Matos Velhos's Adalberto Peres got a free kick in the 4th minute. Lucas Alcântara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mike van Kampen. Matos Velhos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard and well directed shot from Lucas Alcântara led 5 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Matos Velhos's Mike van Kampen became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. F.C. CORVOS MANCELOS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joaquim Delgado 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Kalpanatha Varma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hermenegildo Cavaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ginyo Mechenov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the game, Joaquim Delgado lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Hermenegildo Cavaco. 32 minutes into the match, F.C. CORVOS MANCELOS's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Delgado came free, but Hermenegildo Cavaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike van Kampen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeferino Vilaça in the 38th minute of the match. F.C. CORVOS MANCELOS's Hermenegildo Cavaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Delgado in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Matos Velhos got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Palmeira. Mike van Kampen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ginyo Mechenov in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match F.C. CORVOS MANCELOS got a corner. Matos Velhos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucas Alcântara ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 51st minute, Matos Velhos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zeferino Vilaça fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Delgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermenegildo Cavaco was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. F.C. CORVOS MANCELOS's Lucílio Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Matos Velhos's Mike van Kampen got control of the ball when Anastasio Urtungo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucílio Fernandes in the 72nd minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Mike van Kampen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermenegildo Cavaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Qing Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ginyo Mechenov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Mike van Kampen made a huge save. Mike van Kampen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucílio Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Joaquim Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermenegildo Cavaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Vilhena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermenegildo Cavaco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Candal's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The supporters of Matos Velhos booed when F.C. CORVOS MANCELOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ginyo Mechenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Henrique Candal notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of F.C. CORVOS MANCELOS's Hermenegildo Cavaco. Hermenegildo Cavaco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matos Velhos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
