An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Bucur in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Enișteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigel Biriș didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Malmgren came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabríel Cristofor in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Gică Curcă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fanaticii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gică Curcă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Károly Bodrogi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 minutes, Gică Curcă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Fanaticii and the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Gică Curcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihai Măliță might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Joost Werner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihai Măliță ran back to his position shaking his head. Mihai Măliță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jan-Joost Werner made a huge save. In the 33rdth minute of the game Gavril Bucur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Prunaru to maneuver through the defense. During the 38th minute of the match Gică Curcă completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gică Curcă a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 38th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Curcă to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Panaitescu came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gabríel Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Mihai Măliță made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Gabríel Cristofor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andrei Pavel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Andrei Pavel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Bucur, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Eric Apostu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Apostu to maneuver through the defense. After 63 minutes, Eric Apostu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Fanaticii and the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Eric Apostu got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Radu Rada managed to get in a good position for a shot. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's supporters rose to their feet, but Radu Rada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Pavel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabríel Cristofor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Andrei Pavel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gabríel Cristofor had several of the FC Fanaticii's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Andrei Pavel as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gigel Biriș kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fanaticii's zone, Lars Malmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrei Pavel came out of the goal and Lars Malmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabríel Cristofor in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andrei Pavel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Andrei Pavel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peppe Mascara in the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fanaticii's zone, Gabríel Cristofor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrei Pavel came out of the goal and Gabríel Cristofor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel got control of the ball when Gavril Bucur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabríel Cristofor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Andrei Pavel made a huge save. FC Fanaticii's attentive Leontin Comăneci managed to snatch the ball when Radu Rada made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Andrei Pavel was a little too slow when Károly Bodrogi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-2. When the final whistle sounded C Ａ R D I N Ａ L left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Fanaticii.
