A collision led to Northland Vikings getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jorge Azenha hit a great ball. Algitas Kaščiukaitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benne Benneborg having to interfere. If Algitas Kaščiukaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Northland Vikings's Antonio Čolak got a free kick in the 29th minute. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algitas Kaščiukaitis in the 34th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Northland Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Lindström. Sävedalen's Karl-Åke Berggren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Azenha, made in the 44th minute of the game. Benne Benneborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino de Godoi in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Algitas Kaščiukaitis to make the kick off. Jorge Azenha kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Fernandez in the 59th minute of play forced Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Benne Benneborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Jorge Azenha with Ture Waller as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Sävedalen's Karl-Åke Berggren got a free kick in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Sävedalen's goal looked a bit too open when Ture Waller came free, but Isaltino Durr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Sävedalen's Junior Junior sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benne Benneborg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute Tomas Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sävedalen's Lennart Larsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benne Benneborg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 95 minutes into the match, Gao Peng Ran notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sävedalen's Isaltino Durr. Isaltino Durr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
