The supporters of Sledgehammer KO booed when Vänge IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Schorsch Schmalzbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sledgehammer KO's Benny Bur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Sledgehammer KO from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Leonard Åhman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sledgehammer KO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Karl-Axel Stolpe kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Vänge IF's Schorsch Schmalzbauer tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Di Xing Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Allbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 26th match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Stark to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Leonard Åhman notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vänge IF's Di Xing Yu. Di Xing Yu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus Allbäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Stark to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Leonard Åhman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Xing Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doctor Sócrates could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Di Xing Yu made a huge save. Di Xing Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Åhman in the 79th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Vänge IF's Arnold Stark seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arnold Stark the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vänge IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arnold Stark had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 88 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Stark. Sledgehammer KO's Doctor Sócrates shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Di Xing Yu but with some difficulty. After 94 played minutes Sledgehammer KO got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Lundberg. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Doctor Sócrates took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Di Xing Yu to make any attempt to save it.
