With a little luck, Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman got control of the ball when Ivar Siöberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute Bayan Baye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Kropotkins pojkar from getting a goal against them. Per-Arne Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Siöberg in the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Wargön getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Zdzislaw Liermann hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sören Tunberg. Wargön's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 22nd minute Bayan Baye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo in the 29th minute of play forced Wargön's goalkeeper Sören Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Arne Vidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayan Baye, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After the first half Kropotkins pojkar were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivar Siöberg to make the kick off. Per-Arne Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Siöberg in the 52nd minute of play. Nils-Arne Nilsson took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Arne Vidman. Per-Arne Vidman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wargön's Mikael Liberatore was substituted for Nils-Arne Nilsson. Wargön made a substitution. Iwan Czeberowski replaced Ivar Siöberg. When Kropotkins pojkar's Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wargön's goalie prevented a goal. 63 minutes into the game, Mikael Liberatore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Per-Arne Vidman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute, Robin Örtlund made a precise shot to the right of Sören Tunberg. Wargön's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Jens-Erik Forsberg got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tahsin Elçioğlu. Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sören Tunberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tahsin Elçioğlu's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Wargön's Mikael Liberatore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per-Arne Vidman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 85th minute Mikael Liberatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Arne Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Liberatore in the 88th minute of play. Sören Tunberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albano Boni in the 91st minute. Kropotkins pojkar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
