An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Morientes in the 6th minute of play forced Huracán Varsovia's goalkeeper Bruno Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Czeszejko scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Hermes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18thth minute of the game Fabian Czeszejko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huracán Varsovia's Bruno Hermes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Olimpia HSB booed when Huracán Varsovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Iwanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Mirotić in the 36th minute of the match. Wieslaw Olejarz made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dobromir Pahucki immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Olimpia HSB booed when Huracán Varsovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobromir Pahucki didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Olimpia HSB walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
