In the 11th minute Carlos Casemiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otoniel Abastas lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 13th match minute, Octavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otoniel Abastas to maneuver through the defense. Octavia's Nesor Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derlis Florentin got free with Oscar Frascuelo in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihai Gherase scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dawid Ratulowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Casemiro in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Gherase in the 31st minute of play forced Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Red Reign booed when Octavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nesor Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Red Reign players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Octavia were winning 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihai Gherase to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derlis Florentin in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Frascuelo saved Octavia from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Carlos Casemiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Frascuelo was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, Octavia's goal looked a bit too open when Zorion Pelegri came free, but Oscar Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Octavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nesor Abadie to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Maximo Villamarin made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Frascuelo. Octavia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The Octavia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Red Reign from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
