Karim Morientes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but José Alejandro Seisdedos made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Karim Morientes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Deportes La Serena's José Alejandro Seisdedos. José Alejandro Seisdedos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10th play minutes Karim Morientes shot 2-0, a short shot which went by José Alejandro Seisdedos and just under the crossbar into goal. After 13 minutes of play, Valhalla F.C.'s Eduardo Camavinga made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Alejandro Seisdedos was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Alejandro Seisdedos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karim Morientes's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Said Hamed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Larez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Soso Cheishvili in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Larez saved Valhalla F.C. from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karim Morientes in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Alejandro Seisdedos saved Club Deportes La Serena from getting behind. Valhalla F.C. were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Club Deportes La Serena's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bai Yong Yi took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Deportes La Serena's goalie and right to Adalbert Marenski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Deportes La Serena's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 46th minute, Karim Morientes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Luis Illescas during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Club Deportes La Serena got a freekick which was hit by Juan Luis Illescas. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportes La Serena's goalkeeper José Alejandro Seisdedos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Valhalla F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bai Yong Yi in the 53rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Deportes La Serena's goalie and right to Adalbert Marenski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Deportes La Serena's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. José Alejandro Seisdedos came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Valhalla F.C.'s Karim Morientes. But to his dismay, Karim Morientes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 60th minute Karim Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Alejandro Seisdedos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Said Hamed in the 65th minute of play forced Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Larez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Valhalla F.C.'s Karim Morientes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Alejandro Seisdedos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Valhalla F.C.'s Izel Ronaldo was substituted for Karim Morientes. The supporters of Valhalla F.C. booed when Club Deportes La Serena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remco van den Bergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Garzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benicio Larez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Garzo ran back to his position shaking his head. Izel Ronaldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Alejandro Seisdedos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Izel Ronaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Alejandro Seisdedos. Club Deportes La Serena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Izel Ronaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
