Long Liang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayfun Tuğsavan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Mari Balotelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to ☝️ JÖH ☝️ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Necaettin Niyaz hit a great ball. Anıl Berk Gurbet was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jaap Stam. In the 30th minute Arnold Broos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Liang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anıl Berk Gurbet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Marquez in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Yaman Academy® got a corner. ☝️ JÖH ☝️'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaap Stam ran over to the corner to take the kick. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by ☝️ JÖH ☝️'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaap Stam was slow to take the kick. During this time Yaman Academy®'s players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mari Balotelli got free with Anıl Berk Gurbet in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mari Balotelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Anıl Berk Gurbet made a huge save. Marcelino Firme kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The long shot by Jaap Stam in the 45th minute really tested Anıl Berk Gurbet's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnold Broos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
