Carlo Oddi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Levent Hicran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Apocalypto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dinu Dobre was slow to take the kick. During this time San Mauro A Mare FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on San Mauro A Mare FC's corner Dinu Dobre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlo Oddi quite easily take care of the ball. When Cosimo Martorella fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apocalypto's protests and gave Cosimo Martorella a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Cosimo Martorella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lauro Sabóia to make the kick off. Lauro Sabóia's late challenge caught a San Mauro A Mare FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. San Mauro A Mare FC's Dinu Dobre was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlo Oddi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Apocalypto getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Arturo Munno hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Zhu Yun Bin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Oddi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armin Berardini got free with Carlo Oddi in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. San Mauro A Mare FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dinu Dobre in the 93rd minute. The corner led San Mauro A Mare FC's Francesco Cremonese to a score. 0-8 in the 94th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armin Berardini in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Oddi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. San Mauro A Mare FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
