The referee showed Gooitzen Roswinkel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of The Everett Hawks booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gooitzen Roswinkel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Klompe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Klompe saved Zijdewind SC from getting behind. Mario Klompe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philippe-Arnaud Heremans's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Andreas Pirlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Klompe having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Fre van Eijnde kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mario Klompe. That made the score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. The The Everett Hawks fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when The Everett Hawks's Andreas Pirlo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 41 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Ben Oude Kamphuis. Andreas Pirlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Klompe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Pirlo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Andreas Pirlo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sjors Hoekstra was the one to do the kick off. Tanek Fronczak's late challenge caught a Zijdewind SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tanek Fronczak helped the player get up and apologised. When Philippe-Arnaud Heremans, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 53 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mario Klompe was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kris Van Eersel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mario Klompe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Klompe. Mario Klompe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mario Klompe. The Everett Hawks made a substitution. Jorge Nastasio replaced Kris Van Eersel. A collision led to Zijdewind SC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jasper Latten hit a great ball. The Everett Hawks's Luke Van Bostraeten was substituted for Willem-Jan Grootjans. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mario Klompe. After 89th play minutes Philippe-Arnaud Heremans shot 12-0, a short shot which went by Mario Klompe and just under the crossbar into goal. Andreas Pirlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mario Klompe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that The Everett Hawks were the better team. The Everett Hawks's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
