An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 13th minute of play forced Mosk's goalkeeper Martin Soer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henk Jonckers was a little too slow when Ivo Deijnen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. After 53 minutes, Alek De Hondt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KV Schoonwater and the Mosk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Van Den Wijngaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
