Edvaldo Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilton Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 played minutes SAS got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Madureira. Mauro Mergildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Brasil made a huge save. In the 28th minute of the match ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ got a corner. SAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Augusto Gerber ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 29th minute Agostinho Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilton Valladares to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s Ronaldinho Pimenta got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match, Luiz Guilherme Paraense tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Telmo Tande saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Telmo Tande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Salles in the 61st minute. Telmo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Salles in the 66th minute of play. SAS's Edvaldo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Mergildo in the 76th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Mergildo came free, but Edvaldo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvaldo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Pimenta in the 84th minute of the match. Luiz Guilherme Madureira struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Telmo Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAS. In the 88th minute, Mauro Mergildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Salles was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. SAS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 93rd minute, SAS's Agostinho Carneiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Telmo Tande. Telmo Tande yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
