In the 10th minute Lu Ladron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Artur Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Motta Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after SAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juninho Aparecido took the corner. Edvaldo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Dudu Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvaldo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Aírton de Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glauco Baiano in the 26th minute. When Motta Futebol Clube's Lu Ladron in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SAS's goalie prevented a goal. Edvaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Ladron in the 33rd minute of play. If Válbson de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Motta Futebol Clube's Lu Ladron in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Válbson de Alcântara scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aírton de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

SAS's Edvaldo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Ladron in the 51st minute of play. Edvaldo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Válbson de Alcântara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edvaldo Brasil. Válbson de Alcântara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. With a little luck, SAS's Edvaldo Brasil got control of the ball when Lu Ladron tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Válbson de Alcântara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvaldo Brasil was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. If Artur Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lu Ladron took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Brasil. Edvaldo Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, SAS's Sandrinho Valle got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Lauro Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Motta Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dudu Hermes hit a great ball. Aírton de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Haroldo Amaral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edvaldo Brasil. The goal made the score 0-6. Lu Ladrons short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Edvaldo Brasil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 86th minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lu Ladron. In the 92nd play minute Lu Ladron came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edvaldo Brasil. 0-7. The SAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Motta Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
