After a rather tough play, União Verde FC's Duarte do Vale got a free kick in the 37th minute. Teodoro Moreno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir Pérez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the União Verde FC defense, Ulryk Szel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdir Pérez. The União Verde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdir Pérez should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the game, Teodoro Moreno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Valdir Pérez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The União Verde FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.Salgado F.C. were winning 0-6.

Teodoro Moreno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. 87 minutes into the game, F.Salgado F.C.'s Teodoro Moreno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdir Pérez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. Valdir Pérez made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Teodoro Moreno sent off a good shot on target. Cauã Maciel hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
