Luís Eduardo dos Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Eduardo dos Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rony Rüşti in the 11th minute. Luís Eduardo dos Santos came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Leões do Sul 53's Cristóvão Heidemann. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Heidemann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 20 played minutes Corumbaense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Guto da Mata. Natã Leite hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Guto da Mata hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Leões do Sul 53's Rony Rüşti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 40 played minutes Corumbaense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Guto da Mata. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Seco in the 44th minute. Natã Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natã Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Leões do Sul 53 booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rony Rüşti made a kick off. The supporters of Leões do Sul 53 booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Rony Rüşti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Eduardo dos Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 62nd minute, Rony Rüşti made a precise shot to the right of Luís Eduardo dos Santos. Corumbaense F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Luka Modrić hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Rüşti in the 71st minute of play. After 75 played minutes Corumbaense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luka Modrić. After 79 minutes, Guto da Mata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corumbaense F.C. and the Leões do Sul 53 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Guto da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Luís Eduardo dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rony Rüşti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Luka Modrić got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 86th minute, one of Corumbaense F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corumbaense F.C.. The referee gave Leões do Sul 53 a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Toninho Gonçalves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Corumbaense F.C.'s Luís Eduardo dos Santos. 7-0. 91 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rony Rüşti came free, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Eduardo dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rony Rüşti's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes, Lauro Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leões do Sul 53 and the Corumbaense F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Leões do Sul 53 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lauro Cearense hit a great ball. Leandro Custódio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cauã Sá. Cristóvão Heidemann took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Eduardo dos Santos. Luís Eduardo dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. There was no doubt that Leões do Sul 53 were the better team. Leões do Sul 53's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
