If Zeca Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Arí Cardoso in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by E.C Vera Cruz's Nildo Arruda. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for E.C Vera Cruz! The referee gave Real Brasil F.C. a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abel Rosado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of E.C Vera Cruz's Alexandre Martins. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilton Luz during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Brasil F.C.'s Wilton Luz got a free kick in the 14th minute. Zeca Paulistas short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Lenílson Vianna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 24th minute of the match E.C Vera Cruz got a corner. Real Brasil F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Wiarda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Osvaldo Simão made a great header on E.C Vera Cruz's corner, it was just that Real Brasil F.C.'s Lenílson Vianna managed to reach the ball for a save. Ksawery Bielatowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lenílson Vianna having to make a save. Nildo Arruda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lenílson Vianna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Real Brasil F.C. booed when E.C Vera Cruz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Wiarda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Lenílson Vianna made a huge save. The supporters of E.C Vera Cruz booed when Real Brasil F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arí Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fellipe do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fellipe do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fellipe do Nascimento hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, E.C Vera Cruz's Ksawery Bielatowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lenílson Vianna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ksawery Bielatowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lenílson Vianna having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Ksawery Bielatowicz could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Lenílson Vianna however easily saved by the left post. If Umberto Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ksawery Bielatowicz was the one to do the kick off. Real Brasil F.C.'s Simão da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Simão da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, Real Brasil F.C.'s Simão da Silveira made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Martins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lenílson Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Wiarda in the 56th minute of play. Hugo Wiarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Vianna having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 方诚博 in the 66th minute of play forced Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper Lenílson Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ksawery Bielatowicz in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenílson Vianna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Wiarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lenílson Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Wiarda in the 75th minute of play forced Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper Lenílson Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Real Brasil F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes, Léo Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C Vera Cruz and the Real Brasil F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Real Brasil F.C.'s zone, Nildo Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenílson Vianna came out of the goal and Nildo Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Real Brasil F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Arruda came free, but Lenílson Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Umberto Alves might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Umberto Alves ran back to his position shaking his head. Ksawery Bielatowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Hugo Wiarda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Brasil F.C.'s Lenílson Vianna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arí Cardoso's late challenge caught a E.C Vera Cruz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arí Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. Arí Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Real Brasil F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over E.C Vera Cruz's much stronger midfield.
