A collision led to FÊNIX F.C. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kauã Moreno hit a great ball. Damian Fetor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Mauro Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Luiz Paranaense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Damian Fetor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Leão in the 18th minute of the match. Pedro Luiz Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Luiz Paranaense made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Bengt Bouchard sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio da Rocha came free, but Damian Fetor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Luz took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luiz Paranaense. Pedro Luiz Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Marquinhos Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FÊNIX F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Bengt Bouchard hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. José Augusto Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mauro Luz took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luiz Paranaense. Pedro Luiz Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Vítor Leão made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Teixeira in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luiz Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FÊNIX F.C.'s Tiago Gabriel Damião got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd match minute, FÊNIX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Luz to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FÊNIX F.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bengt Bouchard hit a great ball. José Vítor Leão's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Damian Fetor firmly grabbed it by the left post. 66 minutes into the match, Mauro Luz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luiz Paranaense. Paris San Duíche's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 70th minute, Mauro Luz made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luiz Paranaense. Paris San Duíche's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. FÊNIX F.C. made a substitution. Valério Zonta replaced Tiago Gabriel Damião. Mauro Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FÊNIX F.C.'s Genílson Ferraz was substituted for João Carlos Medeiros. In the 78th minute Bengt Bouchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Mauro Luz made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paris San Duíche's Pedro Luiz Paranaense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FÊNIX F.C. booed when Paris San Duíche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, FÊNIX F.C.'s Mauro Luz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Luiz Paranaense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. When the referee ended the match the FÊNIX F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
