After 32 minutes of play, E.C.Pelotas's Alfonso Leon made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorival Travassos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Alfonso Leon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorival Travassos was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorival Travassos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Átomo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Neto came free, but Dorival Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sobhy Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Douglas in the 64th minute of the match. Átomo F.C.'s Dorival Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Neto in the 67th minute of play. When Ronald Mc Donald came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Átomo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Mc Donald couldn't finish the play. Dorival Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Modrić in the 74th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Átomo F.C.'s goalie and right to Erivaldo Furlan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Átomo F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Luke Modrić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Murilo Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C.Pelotas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murilo Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
