Roque Gabon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Arnoldo Neron kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Roque Gabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Emesto in the 35th minute of play. Armando Monico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Pandilovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Faro querandi's zone, Israel Gaza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Gabon came out of the goal and Israel Gaza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Igor Pandilovski made the kick off in the second half. If Igor Pandilovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute Ali Modrić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Faro querandi's Zeledon Garci got a free kick in the 60th minute. Armando Monico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Pandilovski in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Clemente Emesto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roque Gabon. Faro querandi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Emesto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Roque Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Gaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Cirilo Orain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guiñazú FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The audience was convinced that Ali Modrić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Gabon was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Faro querandi's Roque Gabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Modrić in the 83rd minute of play. After 88 played minutes Faro querandi got a freekick which was hit by Igor Pandilovski. The supporters of Guiñazú FC booed when Faro querandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Pandilovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Guiñazú FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guiñazú FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
