After 4 minutes Defensores de Belén's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elvio Mendez who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidro Orlin in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caio Torrecillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raimundo Obano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caio Torrecillas made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Tomás Leoncio sent off a good shot on target. When Babür Kongurtay came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Defensores de Belén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Babür Kongurtay couldn't finish the play. If Babür Kongurtay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babür Kongurtay might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Obano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Babür Kongurtay ran back to his position shaking his head. Caio Torrecillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babür Kongurtay in the 37th minute of play forced LA InDuStRiA INC's goalkeeper Raimundo Obano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Babür Kongurtay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Obano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Babür Kongurtay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Raimundo Obano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Belén's Virgilio Salvator got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute Babür Kongurtay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Obano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes LA InDuStRiA INC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Leoncio. Raimundo Obano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babür Kongurtay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidro Orlin to make the kick off. If Tomás Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When LA InDuStRiA INC's Isidro Orlin in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. LA InDuStRiA INC's Raimundo Obano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save LA InDuStRiA INC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babür Kongurtay got free with Raimundo Obano in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute of the match Defensores de Belén got a corner. LA InDuStRiA INC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaudencio Poncio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Defensores de Belén's Gaudencio Poncio to fire away a dangerous shot which Raimundo Obano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Raimundo Obano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babür Kongurtay, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Defensores de Belén were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after LA InDuStRiA INC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gaudencio Poncio took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LA InDuStRiA INC's goalie and right to Damaso Cefero. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LA InDuStRiA INC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Babür Kongurtay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Raimundo Obano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Babür Kongurtay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Obano having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elvio Mendez during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, LA InDuStRiA INC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Mendez to maneuver through the defense. If Isidro Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Babür Kongurtay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Belén's supporters rose to their feet, but Babür Kongurtay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Obano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LA InDuStRiA INC's Pablo Perez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Shao Zhen Yang in the 86 minute of the game. After 90 minutes of play LA InDuStRiA INC's Elvio Mendez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Defensores de Belén booed when LA InDuStRiA INC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Ereinotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Haroldo Filipo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caio Torrecillas. Defensores de Belén's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Filipo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The LA InDuStRiA INC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
