An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Matorin in the 13th minute of play forced POCASPULGAS's goalkeeper Rosendo Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Waldemar Matorin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POCASPULGAS's Rosendo Txeru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Waldemar Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Vito hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Black Rose 1979's Waldemar Matorin got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Hitz's late challenge caught a POCASPULGAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Hitz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Gerardo Hitz got a free kick in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Charly Alcaraz came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Genaro Procopio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute of the match POCASPULGAS got a corner. Black Rose 1979's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfonso Rafel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 53 played minutes Black Rose 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly Alcaraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Waldemar Matorin lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Rosendo Txeru. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Waldemar Matorin put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rosendo Txeru. 63 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Charly Alcaraz came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Black Rose 1979's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charly Alcaraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. The Black Rose 1979 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented POCASPULGAS from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
