When Nemesio Dunixi came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Dunixi couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute Celestino Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 11 in the game by Anselmo Acevedo from a close distance when the talented Rigoberto Leoncio managed to make a qualified save. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s players were relieved. 15 minutes into the game, LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s Tobias Elequemedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Gatti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Peluchita Fc's Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Dunixi in the 18th minute of play. Froilan Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Jeremias Clementi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 22 minutes into the match, LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s goalkeeper Rigoberto Leoncio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Clementi. Peluchita Fc's Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Froila in the 23rd minute of play. Froilan Tabb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rigoberto Leoncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Jeremias Clementi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s Rigoberto Leoncio. Rigoberto Leoncio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeremias Clementi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Rigoberto Leoncio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 37 minutes into the match, LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s goalkeeper Rigoberto Leoncio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Clementi. In the 39th minute of the match, Froilan Tabb got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rigoberto Leoncio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aaron McCaw lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 41st minute, one of LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.. Rigoberto Leoncio had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Laureano Jacob's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jeremias Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Clementi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, Peluchita Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Jacob to maneuver through the defense. Peluchita Fc made a substitution. Eulalio Abaunza replaced Jeremias Clementi. The supporters of LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. booed when Peluchita Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Jacob didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute Ovidio Benat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eulalio Abaunza to make the kick off. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s Nemesio Dunixi got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peluchita Fc's Nicolas Richie was substituted for Guaberto Gudesteo. The supporters of LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. booed when Peluchita Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Raymundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Celestino Froila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Gatti was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Aldo Ticho made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nemesio Dunixi immediately put the ball in play. Rigoberto Leoncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Abaunza in the 87th minute of play. Nemesio Dunixi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 98 minutes into the match, LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Abaunza came free, but Rigoberto Leoncio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Peluchita Fc.
