Matei Călin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dumitru Doloman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Mario Jakobe came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Melchazadec Terron could save by the left post. Melchazadec Terron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Jakobe's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Popovici in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Călin came free, but Dumitru Doloman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Călin in the 30th minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper Dumitru Doloman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Åke Gabrielsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC Internazionale's Melchazadec Terron got control of the ball when Stig-Åke Gabrielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Popovici in the 42nd minute of the match. Mario Jakobe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Melchazadec Terron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half FC Internazionale were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Jakobe to make the kick off. FC Internazionale's Melchazadec Terron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Jakobe in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 played minutes Viola Invest got a freekick which was hit by Kuuno Tälli. A collision led to FC Internazionale getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ion Romoşan hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Ion Romoşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Doloman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchazadec Terron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuuno Tälli, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 69th minute Mario Jakobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchazadec Terron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute Constantin Cumpan suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Gavril Anghelescu charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavril Anghelescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Internazionale's Pipo Gorosito was substituted for Constantin Cumpan. Gavril Anghelescu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Melchazadec Terron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Jakobe in the 76th minute of play. Melchazadec Terron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson in the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Matei Călin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dumitru Doloman. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 89th minute Stig-Åke Gabrielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchazadec Terron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matei Călin hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Viola Invest's Ergincan Genişyürek was substituted for Kuuno Tälli. Matei Călin kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Mario Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The FC Internazionale players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
