The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ defense, Filip Pantiș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacian Cârju. The ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacian Cârju should have stopped the shot. Dacian Cârju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Pantiș, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 11th minute of play. Filip Pantiș who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Dacian Cârju when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Filip Pantiș came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Eintracht Cernavoda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Pantiș couldn't finish the play. ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s Dacian Cârju proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s zone, Yin Li Ying stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dacian Cârju came out of the goal and Yin Li Ying tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dacian Cârju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yin Li Ying, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ionică Corcoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Ilieș in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes Eintracht Cernavoda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Viorel Buș who took care of the corner kick. Ivan Ilieș made a great header on ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s corner, it was just that Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Eintracht Cernavoda getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Filip Pantiș hit a great ball. Ivan Ilieș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Rușanu to maneuver through the defense. Nelu Oblemenco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ionică Corcoveanu having to make a save. Nelu Oblemenco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Nelu Oblemenco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Corcoveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Li Ying in the 59th minute of play forced ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s goalkeeper Dacian Cârju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Fânaru. Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Ioan Ortacu replaced Octav Ignat. After a rather tough play, ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s Vintilă Fânaru got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 88th minute, Yin Li Ying got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavius Stanciu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
