The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ionică Bădilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Greavu in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match, Viorel Iacobescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brun O'Down saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aurel Teodoroiu took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brun O'Down. Brun O'Down dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 9th minute, Aurelian Jianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionică Bădilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Cresenciano in the 17th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Rafael Maria Píriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Bădilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionică Bădilescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Maria Píriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tudor Greavu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Bădilescu having to interfere. When FC BaLiSt's Claudiu Cârțan in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tudor Greavu in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionică Bădilescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 38 minutes, Aurel Teodoroiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurel Teodoroiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ionică Bădilescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aron Olteanu went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Tudor Greavu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionică Bădilescu was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The corner led FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Ferdinand Vrejiu to fire away a dangerous shot which Brun O'Down despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Brun O'Down made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Bosioc in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, FC BaLiSt's Aron Olteanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionică Bădilescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Dragoş Dancu was substituted for Filip Braia. In the 73rd minute, Ciprian Halipa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Maria Píriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC BaLiSt's Caetano Messias was substituted for Tudor Greavu. Ionică Bădilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Olteanu in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Teodoroiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciprian Halipa to maneuver through the defense. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Dragoş Antoniu replaced Aron Olteanu. The supporters of FC BaLiSt booed when FC PIETROSUL -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Halipa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionică Bădilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Messias in the 85th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC BaLiSt had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
