A collision led to FCF north getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Cihan Kisačević hit a great ball. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Istok Šabotić in the 6th minute of play. Sun Yuan Ying's late challenge caught a HIT Gorica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sun Yuan Ying helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FCF north's Sun Yuan Ying got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jernej Petrovič took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tjeerd Zwaanswijk. FCF north's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lan Šorli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cihan Kisačević, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Zlato Gorišek kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Mitar Čebulj kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Duško Turnšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjeerd Zwaanswijk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lan Šorli made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Roderick van Boxel sent off a good shot on target. Lan Šorli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cihan Kisačević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HIT Gorica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Roderick van Boxel scored to the left of an out of position Lan Šorli, making the score, 1-0. The long shot by Edgar Baan in the 29th minute really tested Lan Šorli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 47th minute Cihan Kisačević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lan Šorli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duško Turnšek was the one to do the kick off. Lan Šorli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihan Kisačević in the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, FCF north's Hugo Buskermolen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lan Šorli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Lan Šorli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thijs Nelissen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Thijs Nelissen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lan Šorli. HIT Gorica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thijs Nelissen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Lan Šorli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 71 minutes HIT Gorica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roderick van Boxel who took care of the corner kick. FCF north's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roderick van Boxel in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the HIT Gorica defense, Cihan Kisačević kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lan Šorli. The HIT Gorica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lan Šorli should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Thijs Nelissen came free, but Lan Šorli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lan Šorli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sun Yuan Ying, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Thijs Nelissen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Rastislav Tomič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89thth minute of the game Cihan Kisačević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HIT Gorica's Lan Šorli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 minutes of play, FCF north's Roderick van Boxel made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lan Šorli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lan Šorli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cihan Kisačević, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. FCF north walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
