The International Thunders fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when International Thunders's Jelle Knopper looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rouven Nussli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velichko Shindarov in the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Veliko Stefchov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avgustin Yochev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jelle Knopper's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jelle Knopper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Percival Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. International Thunders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laziali the free kick. The supporters of Laziali booed when International Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Sanguinetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. International Thunders's Rouven Nussli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save International Thunders from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veliko Stefchov got free with Rouven Nussli in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Percival Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avgustin Yochev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avgustin Yochev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Percival Costa's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Jelle Knopper left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 75th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yang Wen to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, International Thunders's Jelle Knopper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Avgustin Yochev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 84th minute, 冯亦思 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rouven Nussli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Velichko Shindarov in the 86th minute. International Thunders's Cornelio Rudolfo was substituted for Julien-Nils Freeh. In the 88th minute of the match Laziali got a corner. International Thunders's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Veliko Stefchov ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 94 played minutes Laziali got a freekick which was hit by Miladin Statkov. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jelle Knopper in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avgustin Yochev saved Laziali from getting behind. International Thunders's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
