The Green Fairies's Freddie Mattsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save The Green Fairies from getting a goal against them. Allan Kilstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddie Mattsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Kilstedt's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Freddie Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Kilstedt in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Pål Bratt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Allan Kilstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Green Fairies's Freddie Mattsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivert Lenberg in the 34th minute of play forced Frogner's goalkeeper Sixten Dahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Frogner's Allan Kilstedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddie Mattsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Allan Kilstedts short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Freddie Mattsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 43 minutes into the match, Frogner's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Bratt came free, but Sixten Dahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Kilstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. Freddie Mattsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Kilstedt's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Pål Bratt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sixten Dahlgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Pål Bratt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Östen Gunnarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frogner's Sixten Dahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Bratt in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, Frogner's Sixten Dahlgren got control of the ball when Pål Bratt tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Nordlander in the 75th minute of play forced The Green Fairies's goalkeeper Freddie Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frogner's Sixten Dahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Bratt in the 79th minute of play. Freddie Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Nordlander in the 84th minute of play. In the 84th minute Dag Nordlander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Kilstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Green Fairies's goalkeeper Freddie Mattsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Green Fairies's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
