The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when Angered BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Tolsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristian Brodin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Algot Bollström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Christian Stigsson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Angered BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Stigsson couldn't finish the play. With his leg Algot Bollström managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Degerfors IF's Kristian Brodin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kristian Brodin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Algot Bollström having to make a save. 29 minutes into the game, Fredric Tolsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angered BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Degerfors IF the free kick. In the 29th minute, Fredric Tolsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Kristian Brodin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Algot Bollström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Brodin. In the 35thth minute of the game Kristian Brodin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Angered BK's Algot Bollström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Kristian Brodin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Algot Bollström was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 38 minutes of play, Degerfors IF's Kristian Brodin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Algot Bollström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Algot Bollström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Brodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristian Brodin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Åberg in the 52nd minute of play forced Angered BK's goalkeeper Algot Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristian Brodin in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Algot Bollström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kristian Brodin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Algot Bollström having to make a save. Algot Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Brodin in the 61st minute of the match. Degerfors IF's 余誉德 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wilhelm Gregersson, made in the 66th minute of the game. Kristian Brodin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Algot Bollström having to make a save. Angered BK's Algot Bollström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Åberg in the 70th minute of play. Henrik Nordlund hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Henrik Nordlund kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Kristian Brodin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Algot Bollström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Algot Bollström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristian Brodin's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Sebastian Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Helander, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Nordlund to maneuver through the defense. If Kristian Brodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Angered BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Degerfors IF.
