Nolan Abernathy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nolan Abernathy struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Aldo Hawk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Hills. Aldo Hawk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nolan Abernathy in the 24th minute of play. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Aguirre in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Golden Hills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nolan Abernathy to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Patoruzu's goalkeeper Aldo Hawk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aldo Hawk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nolan Abernathy in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Golden Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Aguirre came free, but Egil Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Patoruzu's goalkeeper Aldo Hawk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Willie Staton fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Patoruzu's protests and gave Willie Staton a yellow card for diving instead. Willie Staton hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The Golden Hills fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egil Östlund should have stopped the shot. Atlético Patoruzu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
