Aragorn's Ondřej Štika quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Moretti in the 8th minute of play forced Fc Kertzfeld's goalkeeper Helmut Lossimäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fedele Moretti sped through Fc Kertzfeld's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Helmut Lossimäe. After a rather tough play, Aragorn's Ovidio Cuarto got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ovidio Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helmut Lossimäe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Pazienza in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Don Blake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fortunato Pazienza to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Edgar de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Kertzfeld and the Aragorn players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Fc Kertzfeld got a freekick which was hit by Edgar de Toledo. Ovidio Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helmut Lossimäe made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Fedele Moretti sent off a good shot on target. Aragorn were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Fc Kertzfeld's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tony Stark took the corner. The corner led Aragorn's Tony Stark to fire away a dangerous shot which Helmut Lossimäe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 64 played minutes Aragorn got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Cuarto. Fc Kertzfeld's Helmut Lossimäe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Pazienza in the 66th minute of play. Fc Kertzfeld's Alix Poulain was substituted for Florent Sorlin. Fc Kertzfeld's Stanko Drlja was substituted for Lin Jing Yong. Helmut Lossimäe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Moretti in the 81st minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Aragorn got a freekick which was hit by Wade Wilson. Andrés Casado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iurie Mardare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Fc Kertzfeld's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Pazienza came free, but Helmut Lossimäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fc Kertzfeld booed when Aragorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wade Wilson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Aragorn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fc Kertzfeld.
