The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jaume Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, VALPICA C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Klose came free, but Rodrigo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilídio Abrantes kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Rodrigo Ramos came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose. But to his dismay, Miroslav Klose quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper Rodrigo Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Diamantino Vilela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 20th minute, Miroslav Klose left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Miroslav Klose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, VALPICA C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Klose came free, but Rodrigo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Miroslav Klose cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Rodrigo Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Diamantino Vilela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Diamantino Vilela got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper Rodrigo Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodrigo Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miroslav Klose scored 0-6 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Ramos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

VALPICA C.F.'s Nacho Marrero was substituted for Quique Bacete. Rodrigo Ramos was a little too slow when Miroslav Klose got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-7. If Miroslav Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Miroslav Klose 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. 66 minutes into the match, Miroslav Klose dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodrigo Ramos, 0-9. In the 69th minute, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodrigo Ramos. Rodrigo Ramos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. When Miroslav Klose came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslav Klose couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Inko Garate with Hernando De la Rosa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 80th minute, Miroslav Klose reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodrigo Ramos. The goal made the score 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Miroslav Klose kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodrigo Ramos. That made the score 0-12 in the 83 minute of play. Rodrigo Ramos was a little too slow when Miroslav Klose got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-13. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. played a much better game than VALPICA C.F. and deserved their victory. The VALPICA C.F. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
