When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Romulo Bilbo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pinto Cofresi to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Yerko Descalzo sped through SuperBarça's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pinto Cofresi. union española s.a.'s Juan Schnaidt got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pinto Cofresi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Malmgren in the 33rd minute of the match. SuperBarça's Pinto Cofresi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save SuperBarça from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, SuperBarça's Almandoz Caseda got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind SuperBarça's goalkeeper Pinto Cofresi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, union española s.a.'s Pinto Cofresi threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Schnaidt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
