After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Filippos Stathopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Rapid's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippos Stathopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucian Crețulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of MZ Rapid booed when AFC PunisherS™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Conta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, AFC PunisherS™'s goal looked a bit too open when Filippos Stathopoulos came free, but Lucian Crețulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codrin Ignat came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Grigore Eftimescu could save by the left post. MZ Rapid's Filippos Stathopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Teodor Zmărăndache dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Grigore Eftimescu, 1-0. When MZ Rapid's Filippos Stathopoulos in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lucian Crețulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Gugulanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Filippos Stathopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lucian Crețulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippos Stathopoulos in the 41st minute of play forced AFC PunisherS™'s goalkeeper Lucian Crețulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filippos Stathopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucian Crețulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filippos Stathopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of AFC PunisherS™ booed when MZ Rapid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Siebert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucian Crețulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippos Stathopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Codrin Ignat made a kick off. Eduard Ţopescu struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Grigore Eftimescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC PunisherS™. Lucian Crețulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Paz in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Adrian Gugulanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucian Crețulescu was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Lucian Crețulescu came out of the goal and Adrian Gugulanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lucian Crețulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Eduard Ţopescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC PunisherS™ and the MZ Rapid players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucian Crețulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Gugulanu in the 95th minute. MZ Rapid were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
