In the 4thth minute of the game Stefan Halbich who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blau Weiß Sauerland's Uwe Kuhni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Halbich in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uwe Kuhni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Uwe Kuhni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Pleschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Night Cats were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Blau Weiß Sauerland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulises Pagomari took the corner. Ulises Pagomari made a great header on SC Night Cats's corner, it was just that Blau Weiß Sauerland's Uwe Kuhni managed to reach the ball for a save. Uwe Kuhni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xabat Acedo in the 16th minute of the match. Blau Weiß Sauerland's Uwe Kuhni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Berkowitz in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of SC Night Cats booed when Blau Weiß Sauerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Väino Nirk didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Blau Weiß Sauerland getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Luiz Nunes hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Stefan Halbich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uwe Kuhni was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabat Acedo in the 26th minute of play forced Blau Weiß Sauerland's goalkeeper Uwe Kuhni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xabat Acedo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uwe Kuhni. Uwe Kuhni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Stefan Halbich kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Uwe Kuhni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Halbich in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Alessio Bongartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabat Acedo in the 37th minute of play forced Blau Weiß Sauerland's goalkeeper Uwe Kuhni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uwe Kuhni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xabat Acedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Nunes's late challenge caught a SC Night Cats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Blau Weiß Sauerland getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Luiz Nunes hit a great ball. Stefan Halbich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uwe Kuhni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Halbich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Halbich charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Halbich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stefan Halbich hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Willi Reutter was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Philip Schilder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Willi Reutter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arno Trenkel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 57 in the game by Xabat Acedo from a close distance when the talented Uwe Kuhni managed to make a qualified save. Blau Weiß Sauerland's players were relieved. Arno Trenkel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Bongartz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uwe Kuhni didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. After 74 played minutes SC Night Cats got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Halbich. In the 77th minute, Adam Pingel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blau Weiß Sauerland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 81st match minute, SC Night Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Lück to maneuver through the defense. Xabat Acedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Uwe Kuhni made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Blau Weiß Sauerland's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Halbich came free, but Uwe Kuhni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Väino Nirk fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blau Weiß Sauerland's protests and gave Väino Nirk a yellow card for diving instead. SC Night Cats's Ulises Pagomari shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Uwe Kuhni but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Halbich in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uwe Kuhni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arno Trenkel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willi Reutter in the 95th minute of the match. SC Night Cats's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
