The audience thought a goal was coming when Yusuf Yazıcı got free with Imran Johnsson in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tio Cosme FC's Yu Kun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Pello in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute, Tio Cosme FC's Yusuf Yazıcı dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yusuf Yazıcı to strike the kick off in the second half. Yu Kun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pegaso FC's goalkeeper Imran Johnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pegaso FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victorino Gonzalez was slow to take the kick. During this time Tio Cosme FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pegaso FC's goalie and right to Tadeo Goito. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pegaso FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Tio Cosme FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pegaso FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pegaso FC.
